Our Story

Keeper turned breeder.
Perch Plate wasn't born in a factory. It came out of a rack room at 11pm, after another daily substrate change that shouldn't have been necessary in the first place.
Chapter 01 — The Keeper
It started, like a lot of these things do, with one crested gecko. Then a second. Then a rack. Somewhere between "I have a pet" and "I have a project," I stopped being a keeper and started being a breeder — and the workload changed with it.
Chapter 02 — The Daily Grind
Every night the same thing: pull the bottle caps, wipe the walls, peel up the paper towel, replace it, put it all back. Not because the enclosure was dirty — but because CGD had dripped, splattered, or been tracked across an otherwise clean substrate.
The truth was frustrating. The substrate didn't need to be changed. The food just kept ending up on it.

Chapter 03 — The Fix
Perch Plate is the simple answer I wish I'd had years ago: lift the food off the floor, give the cup a stable home, and stop turning a clean enclosure into a laundry cycle every single night.
Three sizes — 0.5 oz, 1 oz, and 2 oz — so it fits the deli cup you're already using. Designed by a breeder who got tired of the mess. Made for keepers who'd rather spend that time with their animals.
Come say hi.
Follow the breeding project, ask sizing questions, or just see the plates in use with the crew.
